The UK is well known for its links with aviation. The Indra Dhanush exercise with the Indian Airforce is one of those highlights.

The Frisian Flag exercise is one of the largest in Europe and was hosted at Leeuwarden Airbase in Northern part of The Netherlands. More than 50 combat aircraft participated and included F-16s from Poland and The Netherlands, F/A-18s from Spain and Finland, Eurofighters from Germany and F-15s from the US Air National Guard.

From 16 May to 27 May 2016 the NATO Tigermeet exercise was held at Zaragoza Airbase, Spain. The exercise was hosted by ALA 15 and was the largest Tigermeet in the 50+ years history. Over 15 nations participated and around 1000 sorties were flown. Two public events were organised, on 20 May the spottersday which attracted over 1500+ spotters and the airshow on 21 May which attracted over 40.000 visitors.

 

The Frisian Flag 2016 exercise took place from 11-22 April at Leeuwarden Airbase in Northern part of The Netherlands. More than 50 combat aircraft participated and included F-16s from Poland, Belgium and The Netherlands, F/A-18s from Finland, Eurofighters from Germany, Tornados from the UK, Mirage 2000Ds from France and F-15s from the US Air National Guard.


The Frisian Flag 2017 exercise took place from 27 March till 7 April at Leeuwarden Airbase. The participating aircraft included F-16s from Portugal, Belgium and The Netherlands, Eurofighters from Germany, Tornados from the UK, Mirage 2000Ds from France and F-15s from the US Air National Guard.
